Our Story: Forged in Innovation

Founded in 2023, Secure Verification Group was born to make using digital IDs faster, more trustworthy, and more prevalent. At the time, digital IDs had recently been introduced in a total of four states. The founding team knew the technology was clearly better than physical IDs in terms of trust, privacy, and convenience, but nowhere accepted them yet. Having already been accepted into Georgia Tech’s prestigious startup incubator program, Create-X Startup Launch, the team knew they had the experience and expertise necessary to bridge this gap. They have been working hard ever since to make digital IDs are as prevalent as physical IDs with better trust, privacy, and security.

Saket leads Secure Verification Group with a passion for staying on the bleeding edge. His background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning enable him to prepare for the continuous evolution of the tech industry. He also prioritizes long term sustainability over short term success. This allows him to cut through the noise of industry trends and create a vision for the company that will lead to long-term success.

Viet Nguyen

Co-Founder & CTO

Viet serves as the architect for all our technology. Drawing on his extensive knowledge in Information Technology and Cybersecurity from his graduate studies at Georgia Tech, he constructs robust, secure identity solutions, a process deeply informed by his understanding of Mobile Driver's License (mDL) technology. Viet is driven to pioneer the growth of digital identity solutions, aiming to set the standard for digital trust and security in the process.

With a deep care for all users, Gabe strives to perfect the experience of using digital IDs for everyone. Raised in rural Georgia around law enforcement, he takes great care to include law enforcement officers, small business owners, and people of varying technological backgrounds in every decision. He strives to make every interaction with a digital ID effortless and delightful.
